About
Danny K
Dan Kennedy earned his living as a night club entertainer since the late 1960s in the San Francisco Bay Area and Nevada. As a singer/guitarist he performed R&B, Swing, Country, and Rock and Roll hits from the 1940s through the 1990s. He hosted his first wedding as a band leader in 1975 and has honed his skills as a Master of Ceremonies in the years since.
In the late 1990s he found himself tiring of the night club scene and began looking for new challenges. He now sings with several jazz groups around the Bay Area and devotes a major
portion of his entertaining skills as a mobile wedding Disk-Jockey Host. He averages sixty to seventy weddings a year including several corporate events and private parties. Upon request, he will sing from his repertoire of swing hits emulating the crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat "King" Cole, Bobby Darin, and Tony Bennett. Danny loves all types of music and has a broad collection of hits from the 1940s through the 2000s: Swing, Big Band, early
Rock & Roll, R&B, Classic Rock, Country, Motown, Modern Rock, Hip Hop, etc. He even has a few choice selections of light Classical music for ceremonies and always has a couple of current hits for the youngsters. He is an experienced Master of Ceremonies and works together with his clients to keep the events moving smoothly and on schedule. He enjoys playing requests and prides himself on having a little something for everyone.
